The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks

I read the Night Angel Trilogy written by Brent Weeks some time ago, and they were mind BLOWING... well at least they satisfied my need for fantasy and medieval.

These books are about a poor orphaned boy, Azoth, who gets a chance to become the apprentice of the most lethal Wetboy (an assassin with magical powers); Durzo. In accepting this opportunity Azoth, has to leave everything he has ever known behind, including his name.

In these books Azoth who becomes Kylar Stern is given the power to deal out justice. In doing so he earns the name Night Angel. He is chosen to wield a power that allows him to better achieve justice. Kylar destroys the evil he sees in souls of men, which to do so means he has to kill the man. Each book leads up to the ultimate assassination, or the  biggest evil in Kylar’s life.

Brent Weeks creates this amazing world with danger at every corner and killer characters (literally ;) hehe). If you choose to pick these books up the next time you find yourself at the library, you will then be immersed in a medieval war between good and evil and c’mon who doesn’t love that stuff?

So if you’re the kind of person who finds yourself being drawn to epics then this is the next book series for you. Each book itself is pretty long, but if you’re the reader you say you are, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Hope you Enjoy it :D
